In 2015, Ann was honored to be invited to demo scratchboard for three days during the run of the California State Fair in the Fine Art Exhibit hall. She’s been invited back this year to demo for two days. The days are long, but gratifying, as it’s an opportunity to introduce many people to scratchboard. Last year, hundreds of people stopped to see what Ann was doing. Ampersand graciously provides small sample boards so visitors can try out the medium.
Find Ann in Building 5 of the Expo Center. There’s no fee for the Exhibit or demo, but you will need to purchase a Fair ticket. You may purchase tickets on-line through this page.
Ann will also have a display of her work with items available for purchase: originals, reproduction prints on metal & wood, and note cards.
