Watercolor on Yupo Workshop – University Art

Saturday, May 14th, 10 am – 4 pm, University Art

Explore the possibilities of watercolor painting on this unique surface.
Yupo is a slick and non-absorbent synthetic paper. These properties allow the colors to remain bright and vibrant and to flow and blend differently than on traditional watercolor paper. Interesting patterns and watermarks are created, paint can be pushed around, and lifting is easy. Ann favors animal subjects painted in bright colors, but this technique can be used for any subject and color palette.

Open to all levels; new and past students welcome. Supplies may be purchased at University Art at a 20% discount. Supply list will be sent upon confirmation of payment.

$80 per person, must pre-pay (to Ann)
