September

1st Annual Open Garage Art Thing
Saturday, September 25
10 am - 5 pm

For over 10 years, Ann has participated in PlacerArts' Annual Autumn Art Studios Tour. This year, however, she's decided not to participate but will instead have a one-day "Open Garage" event. She enjoys meeting art and animal fans and discussing her work and technique and doesn't want to miss the opportunity to do that. Since she doesn't have a proper studio, she'll set out her wares in her spacious garage. Refreshments and an hourly raffle for a 15% discount are part of her plans.

Ongoing: Le Cadeau du Cheval

Ann is one of nearly 200 artists participating in Le Cadeau du Cheval (The Horse Gift) a mural project consisting of 238 individual 16" x 16" panels. That's her panel above - a rendition of "Clever Hans". The full mural was unveiled September 3rd, 2008 at Spruce Meadows (an equestrian show jumping facility) in Calgary, Alberta Canada. The mural will be traveling for 1 - 2 years and will then be housed permanently at an equestrian facility to be determined. Find out more by clicking on the image of Hans.

Books of the mural are also available, click here to find out more.
